Grace, our Digital Account Manager, has been volunteering with the James River Association’s Green Infrastructure Stewardship team! She’s been learning proper tree care and pruning techniques, planting native species across Richmond’s public libraries, and assisting with general maintenance as part of JRA’s Greening Richmond Public Libraries initiative.
“Not only have I learned so much about how incredible trees and other native plants are at managing stormwater runoff and improving water quality, but I’m also connecting with my neighbors, and helping to make our river and environment healthier for all our community members,” Grace said about her volunteer experience.
